In the bustle of the awards season another prominent group has announced the nominees for their annual accolade. The International Press Academy hosts the 18th annual Satellite Awards on March 9, 2014 in L.A.

The nominees this year include many Oscar frontrunners with 12 Years a Slave earning 10 nominations. Gravity and American Hustle tie for second most nominations with 8 each.

The Satellite Awards give out trophies to film and television.
