It was a night of few surprises as the 2014 Critics' Choice Awards were handed out. It ended up being a night that we may see again in a month with many Oscar nominated performances and pictures receiving top prizes. It looks like 12 Years a Slave may have the Best Picture slot, as it walked away with yet another prize. Alfonso Cuaron also walked away with another trophy for directing for Gravity. And Matthew McConaughey and Cate Blanchett won the top acting awards, from Dallas Buyers Club and Blue Jasmine, respectively.
