winners//2014 SOUTHEASTERN FILM CRITICS ASSOCIATION AWARDS

AWARDS COVERAGE

The Grand Budapest Hotel has many factors going for it to become this awards season's underdog winner. It's made over $100 million at the box office (quite a feat for an "indie" film) and it continues to slowly get recognition from critics groups and award ceremonies alike. It received the top spot on the Southeastern Film Critics Association's list of best films of 2014, as well as Best Ensemble and Best Original Screenplay.
