nominees//67TH DIRECTORS GUILD OF AMERICA AWARDS

AWARDS COVERAGE

The Directors Guild of America has nominated five directors that could end up being the same nominees for the Academy Award. The DGA is comprised of 15,000 members, most of which make up a portion of the Academy Award directors voting branch.

There were a few notable omissions from the nominees, including Ava DuVernay for Selma, David Fincher for Gone Girl, Christopher Nolan for Interstellar, and Angelina Jolie for Unbroken. Getting the biggest awards bump is Clint Eastwood, who was nominated for the slowly-rising American Sniper.
