winners//2015 ART DIRECTORS GUILD AWARDS

AWARDS COVERAGE

There are only two more guild awards ceremonies left on the calendar for this awards season: the Directors Guild and the Writers Guild. Both awards will be the last of the Oscar precursors before February 22's Academy Awards. As with most guild awards, these generally tip a hat in favor of one film or another. But, this year has been a smorgasbord of accolades going to Boyhood, Birdman, and The Grand Budapest Hotel left and right.

While Boyhood still seems to frontrunner, overall, the artistic voices are leaning more towards the visual treat that is Birdman and the creatively clever Budapest Hotel. While Boyhood is still in the game, there is no denying that when it comes to sheer creative talent, the other two reign supreme.
