winners//2015 BRITISH ACADEMY FILM AWARDS

AWARDS COVERAGE

Where the DGA put the cards in Birdman's favor, the BAFTA Awards moved things back on the side of Boyhood. The beloved epic by Richard Linklater swept the major categories it was nominated for, including Best Film and Best Director. As the British equivalent to the Academy Awards, this is a great sign for the drama with only weeks left until Oscar Sunday.

Also sealing an even clearer move towards the Oscar victory seat, Julianne Moore and Eddie Redmayne nabbed the Best Actress and Best Actor awards.
