nominees//21st CRITICS CHOICE AWARDS

AWARDS COVERAGE

UPDATE (December 22, 2015): In an unprecedented move, the Broadcast Film Critics Association has voted to include Star Wars: The Force Awakens among the Best Picture nominees.

Presented by the Broadcast Film Critics Association and Broadcast Television Journalists Association, the Critics Choice Awards celebrate the year's best in motion pictures and television. While most critics groups hand out their own awards, the Critics Choice Awards tend to act as a summation of each group's efforts.

Mad Max: Fury Road earned the most nominations, with 13 mentions, including Best Picture. ABC, FX Networks, and HBO earned the most nominations on the television side, with 14 nominations each. Fargo, of FX Networks, earned the most single nominations of any series, with 8 nominations.

The ceremony airs live on A&E, Lifetime, and LMN on Sunday, January 17, 2016. T.J. Miller will act as host.
