AWARDS COVERAGE



The inaugural Critics' Choice Documentary Awards celebrated documentary filmmaking at a ceremony at BRIC in Brooklyn on November 3, 2016.

The awards, given by the Broadcast Film Critics Association (BFCA) and Broadcast Television Journalists Association (BTJA), gave awards season boosts to O.J.: Made in America and 13th, as well as honors for D.A. Pennebaker and Chris Hegedus with the Critics' Choice Lifetime Achievement Awards.
