Chalk it up as another win for Moonlight, as Barry Jenkins' film garnered the Best Picture prize, with La La Land named as the runner-up.

In other categories, Adam Driver surprised as the Best Actor recipient for his work in Paterson. And, Lily Gladstone earned her second mention of the day (after the Atlanta Film Critics Society) for Best Supporting Actress for the indie Certain Women.

Shirley MacLaine will receive the career achievement honor at the association's awards dinner gala on January 14, 2017 at the InterContinental Hotel in Century City.
