In one of the lesser-mentioned guild awards, La La Land still reigned supreme, picking up the Best Music Supervision for Films Budgeted Over $25 Million from the Guild of Music Supervisors. The film also picked up the award for Best Song/Recording Created for a Film ("City of Stars").

The 7th annual award show, presented at the Theatre at the Ace Hotel in LA, also handed out kudos to 2016 greats like Captain Fantastic and 20th Century Women.
