News // ACADEMY ANNOUNCES INAUGURAL 2018 CAREERS IN FILM SUMMIT: NEW YORK

Academy members, Oscar-winning and nominated filmmakers, and industry professionals will be part of the panel discussions.



Per a press release, the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences is set to present its inaugural Careers in Film Summit: New York on Saturday, April 14, at the Time Warner Center in New York City. The half-day event will provide both high school and college students and educators the opportunity to learn about careers in the motion picture industry.


The summit will include three moderated panel discussions. All panels will be simultaneously live-streamed on Oscars.org. This is in conjunction with the Careers in Film Summit: Los Angeles, hosted for the past three years, and Careers in Film Summit: London, hosed for the past two years.
