Winners // 2016 SAN FRANCISCO FILM CRITICS CIRCLE AWARDS



Moonlight continued its big day of critics' awards wins with the Best Picture prize from the San Francisco Film Critics Circle. Overall, Barry Jenkins' film was honored with six prizes total.


Fences, The Handmaiden, Manchester by the Sea, and Arrival all walked away with two wins each. Denzel Washington received the Best Actor award, his first win in this category this season.


Noticeably absent from the awards was Oscar frontrunner La La Land.
