Winners // 2018 NEW YORK FILM CRITICS ONLINE AWARDS

Melissa McCarthy earned her first critics prize of the season.



Netflix's Roma picked up three wins from the New York Film Critics Online, including Best Picture. The film's director, Alfonso Cuarón, was named Best Director and he also picked up the win for Best Cinematography.


In the acting categories, Melissa McCarthy won her first critics prize of the season for her work in Can You Ever Forgive Me?. Her co-star in the film, Richard E. Grant, was named Best Supporting Actor. He is the frontrunner for the Oscar.


This is the 19th year the New York Film Critics Online group has voted on year-end awards.
