The Favourite is now the favorite for the Production Design Oscar.
The Art Directors Guild handed out its annual awards at a ceremony hosted at the InterContinental Los Angeles Downtown. The Favourite, Black Panther, and Crazy Rich Asians were among the winners.
The awards highlight achievements in production design, an award that often mirrors the Oscars' own Production Design award. In fact, the winners of the ADG awards typically win the Oscar, with the past five years' Academy Awards winners earning wins from the ADG earlier in their respective seasons.
This year's ceremony also included last year's newest category recognizing animated films. Isle of Dogs earned the win this year.
Rob Marshall was given the Cinematic Imagery Award. Plus, Lifetime Achievement Awards were handed to Jeannine Oppewall, Ed Verreaux, Jim Florito, and William F. Matthews.
Anthony Masters and Bejamin Carre were inducted into the ADG Hall of Fame.
