In an unprecedented move the Producers Guild awarded two movies its big prize of Producers of the Year. 12 Years a Slave and Gravity tied for the coveted prize, usually seen as one of the strongest indicators of the Best Picture winner (all of the last 6 Best Picture winners won the award, as have 17 of the past 25 years). After American Hustle won the SAG and the Golden Globe for Best Picture, Comedy/Musical, it seemed the new frontrunner. Now, with 12 Years a Slave having won the PGA and the Golden Globe for Best Picture, Drama, and Gravity having won Best Director at almost every award ceremony and poised to take home the Directors Guild Award, there is no clear frontrunner anymore making this an exciting Oscar race.
Here's the rundown of all of the PGA winners.
