Winners // 32nd AMERICAN SOCIETY OF CINEMATOGRAPHERS AWARDS



Roger Deakins, famed cinematographer who's never won an Academy Award, earned the top prize at the 32nd American Society of Cinematographers Awards for his work on Blade Runner 2049. Deakins is in the running for the Academy Award again this year, his 14th nomination.


The same five directors of cinematography nominated for the ASC Award are up for the Oscar next month. The winner of the ASC's top prize has gone on to win the Oscar in 6 of the past 10 years.
