Winners // 55th CINEMA AUDIO SOCIETY AWARDS

Bohemian Rhapsody continues its impressive guild award run.



Queen biopic Bohemian Rhapsody, despite critical dsimay, has powered through the guild awards season on its way to the Oscars. With important precursor wins from other guilds, its victory with the Cinema Audio Society solidifies its potential Oscar success.


The 55th CAS Awards celebrate the craft of sound mixiing.


Bohemian Rhapsody beat out Black Panther, First Man, Roma, and A Star is Born. It's now expected to repeat at the Oscars.


Wes Anderson's Isle of Dogs shocked as the winner of the animated film category, beating out Incredibles 2 and Spider-Man; Into the Spider-Verse.


Special awards were given to Mary Jo Lang (President's Award), Lee Orloff (Career Achievement), and Steven Spielberg (Filmmaker Award).
