Winners // 5th LOCATION MANAGERS GUILD INTERNATIONAL AWARDS

Though the 2017 awards season is over, the 5th Location Managers Guild International Awards squeezed in a last-minute win for films like Dunkirk.

Christopher Nolan's wartime epic was named one of two motion picture winners. Filmed at the actual French location of the famed battle, the film was named Outstanding Locations in a Period Film.

For Contemporary Film, Edgar Wright's Baby Driver received the award, plus an additional mention for the Atlanta Mayors Office of Film and Entertainment as the Outstanding Film Commission. Baby Driver was completely shot on location in and around Atlanta.

On the TV side, Game of Thrones added an award to its mantel, being named Outstanding Locations in a Period Television Series. Ozark won the same award for Contemporary Television Series.

Like Baby Driver, Ozark was filmed in areas surrounding Atlanta. Location Manager Rino Pace received the Lifetime Achievement Award. Credits include Inception, Deadpool, and Unforgiven.

The 5th Location Managers Guild International Awards were celebrated at a ceremony at the Alex Theatre in Glendale.
